If you find that the lead is slipping back into the pencil, please gently push the claw back toward the pencil to tighten its grip. When replacing the lead, be cautious, as the plastic claw is fragile and may break if excessive force is used.
 
We are currently developing a higher-strength titanium spring to permanently resolve this issue. In the meantime, following these instructions should allow you to use the pencil without any problems.
